Who I am

A developer who cares about the finished experience, not just the code.

I build websites and web applications with a frontend-first mindset, while being comfortable working across the stack when a project requires it. I enjoy turning a business idea, product requirement or design into something that people can actually use.

My experience includes freelance and contract projects, agency work, web development roles, tutoring and collaboration with designers and other developers. That mix has taught me to think about more than implementation: communication, responsiveness, maintainability, performance and the client's actual objective matter too.

I work with technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, PHP, MySQL, React, Node.js and MongooseJS, alongside Git-based development workflows. My CV also documents work involving authentication, dashboards, API integration, responsive web applications, debugging, performance optimisation and client support.
